Interior lamp with square blunt ends. This part superseded 13H192 which originally had the black on/off switch which BMC also fitted as an alternative. Fitted from October 1964 when courtesy light switches were introduced on Cooper from body number 30891 and Cooper S from 31223 and was fitted to all Mk2/3 until October 1974.
In 1974 the Mk2/3 lamp was superseded by a rectangular lamp 13H8919 which was replaced by same shape lamp EAM1650.
The earlier lamp with pointed torpedo ends and a black switch was used on MK1 model Minis,Elf & Hornet MK2. See 14A9148 which was an alternatives to 13H192.
On the Mk3 Mini and Mk2 Elf/Hornet it was fitted on the side of the roof-whereas on MK1/2 with 2 piece headlining it was fitted in middle of roof.
Most have now tarnished and changed colour considerably as well as becoming very brittle and break when removed so buy a new one whilst you can.
The screw size for lamp fitting is 3/4 inch No6 preferably countersunk.
