Pair of upper front damper mounting brackets, with the mounting pin both raised and moved in towards the vehicle centerline slightly to improve damper attitude. With the damper held in a more vertical position they work far more efficiently, improving the handling. Originally conceived for use on Minis that have been lowered they will also improve the dampers performance on standard ride height cars.
The change in mounting pin position helps avoid the dampers bottoming out in use on severely lowered Minis - a situation that will damage both the damper and the mountings. Made in a heavy gauge steel they are stronger than the original standard mounting brackets. See C-AJJ3361 for an upgraded lower damper pin (fits in top arm).
