Brand new steering rack, less tie rod ends for all standards mini's with right hand drive steering. On most of these racks, one of the small bolts that holds the pinion cover on sticks out. Do not be tempted to tighten it up as it will adjust the preload on the rack, the more you tighten it, the stiffer the rack will get and vica-versa.
Always replace the dust shield sponge 21A30 between the body and rack where the spindle that locates the inner column sits. Also ensure the anti friction/static packing pieces 21A2553 are fitted.
Gaiter kit for rack from May 2010 is GSV1056.
This Rack is NOT suitable for Sportspack cars - the sport pack has a reduced turning circle to stop tyre rub.
