If you drive A-series cars long enough, you will eventually have to replace the water pump bypass hose.
These are the best quality available to fit without removing the cylinder head, but these fluted rubber hoses have a bad reputation.
If possible, fit a Kevlar type which can be done by fitting a 12A2075 tube in the head and fitting a GZA2083 Kevlar rubber hose shortened to 44mm.
We recommend carrying a spare.
